  1. New feature

Salesforce's MuleSoft Agent Fabric adds continuous quality evaluation of live agents, predefined interventions when quality drops, and spending caps before requests exceed budget.

What this means for you: If a company runs live AI agents, MuleSoft Agent Fabric can now keep checking the quality of their answers while they work. It can trigger set actions when quality drops, and it can stop spending once a cap is reached. This is aimed at teams who manage agents, not at everyday users.

Why it matters: Salesforce says AI agents can fail quietly and costs can keep climbing, so problems may only show up after customers are affected.

How to use it: Salesforce's announcement page is at sforce.co/4zdgvgJ. These capabilities are part of Agent Fabric.

My team is about to run AI agents that talk to customers, and I learned that Salesforce's MuleSoft Agent Fabric can evaluate agents continuously, trigger set actions when quality drops, and cap spending. Help me draft a checklist of quality problems and a monthly budget limit to decide on. We handle: [describe customer tasks].

  2. New feature

Salesforce's Slack adds Slack Code, with code channels where people and AI agents such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot and Devin work together in one thread.

What this means for you: Slack Code adds code channels where people and AI agents work in the same thread. The agents named are Claude Code, GitHub Copilot and Devin. Salesforce's demo shows a code channel taking a bug report to a shipped fix, with the whole team and their agents working it in real time.

Why it matters: Salesforce frames it as people and agents building together in the open, instead of one person prompting an AI in private.

  3. New feature

Salesforce adds Tableau Knowledge, which turns Tableau metadata and semantics into knowledge graphs that give AI agents governed data, new in Winter '27.

What this means for you: Tableau Knowledge takes the metadata (descriptions of your data) and semantics (what the terms mean) already built in Tableau and combines them with unstructured data, like documents, into knowledge graphs. You can then curate and enrich them so AI agents draw on governed, meaning controlled, knowledge to give accurate insights.

How to use it: It is new in Salesforce's Winter '27 release. Details are on the link in Salesforce's post.

My team uses Tableau and is considering Salesforce's new Tableau Knowledge, which turns Tableau metadata and semantics, plus unstructured data, into knowledge graphs for AI agents. Help me list what to prepare and what questions to ask my admin before we start. Our Tableau use: [describe dashboards and data].
