Changelog
November 2026
- New feature
Dify added IP Access Control, letting teams set reusable IP allowlists and protect selected app access points, with a view of coverage.
What this means for you: Teams can now limit who reaches an internal AI app built in Dify by setting reusable IP allowlists (lists of approved network addresses). They can protect selected access points of an app and check coverage in one place.
How to use it: Dify's blog post at dify.ai/blog/ip-access-control shows how to set it up.

- New feature
Dify 1.18.0 adds agents that route workflows, portable app packages, deeper visibility into nested workflow runs, an opt-in Agent Knowledge Base, and the difyctl command line client.
What this means for you: Dify lets you build AI apps and agent workflows visually. Version 1.18.0 lets an agent choose which branch of a workflow to follow, such as resolving a request directly or handing it to a specialist. You can move an app with its agents and skills in one .ifpkg package file. You can also open a nested workflow run and inspect its individual steps.
How to use it: Turn on Output Routes in an Agent node and give each route a selection condition. Import and export .ifpkg packages in Studio. The Agent Knowledge Base is in beta, is opt-in, and will soon be on cloud.dify.ai. Self-hosters should read the upgrade guide and back up first. The new difyctl command line client needs a fresh sign-in.
I'm building a workflow in Dify, where an Agent can now choose between routes, for example resolving a request directly or handing it to a specialist. Help me design the routes for [my use case]: what each route should be called, the condition for choosing it, and what happens next.
