Changelog
November 2026
- New model
Meshy added N1 Texture to the web app and API, a texturing mode for stylized game assets with fewer seams, about 20-second results and 2K base color.
What this means for you: N1 Texture paints surface color onto a 3D model, aimed at stylized game assets. It leaves fewer visible seams where the paint meets, finishes in about 20 seconds, and gives a clean base color at 2K resolution.
How to use it: Use the new texture mode in the Meshy web app or through the API, which lets other software connect to Meshy. It is live now.
I make stylized game assets and just learned Meshy's new N1 Texture mode gives textures with fewer seams, in about 20 seconds, with a 2K base color. Help me plan how to test it: what kinds of models to try first, what text descriptions to write, and what flaws to look for. My game is: [describe game and art style].
October 2026
- New feature
Meshy launched Meshy Edit, which lets all registered users select one part of an untextured draft model and regenerate only that part from a text description.
What this means for you: Meshy Edit lets you fix one part of a 3D model without starting over. Select the part, describe the change in words, and press Generate. Only that part changes. It works on untextured draft models, meaning models that don't have colors or surface detail added yet.
Why it matters: Meshy's own reason is that you no longer have to regenerate the whole model for one small fix.
How to use it: Open an untextured draft model in Meshy. Select the part you want to edit, describe the change, then press Generate. It is available to all registered users.
I'm making a 3D model of [object] in Meshy, and Meshy Edit lets me regenerate just one selected part from a text description. Help me write short, clear descriptions for changing [part of the model] in three different ways, so I can compare the results.
- New feature
Meshy added Print Check, which detects thin walls, non-manifold edges and holes in models, plus a one-click fix and 3MF export for a chosen printer.
What this means for you: Meshy's Print Check looks at a 3D model for thin walls, non-manifold edges (edges that don't form a solid shape a printer can follow) and holes, which can cause a failed print. A one-click Fix repairs these problems. Then you pick your printer model and export a 3MF file, a common 3D printing format.
Why it matters: It comes a day after Meshy 3D Agent left beta on Oct 14, taking an idea through concept art and a 3D model to print or game engine export.
How to use it: Run the check in Meshy on your model. Click Fix to repair the issues, pick your printer model, then export 3MF.
I plan to 3D print a model made in Meshy. I just learned Meshy has a Print Check for thin walls, non-manifold edges and holes, plus a one-click fix and 3MF export for my printer. Walk me through a checklist for preparing the print and what to do if a print still fails. My printer is [printer model] and the object is [describe object].
- Launch
Meshy 3D Agent is out of beta and available to all users, taking an idea through concept art and a 3D model to print or game engine export.
What this means for you: Meshy 3D Agent works from a conversation: you describe what you want, it makes a batch of concept art, then builds a 3D model from it. You can then send the model to a 3D printer or to a game engine, the software used to build video games. It is no longer in beta, which means it is out of testing.
How to use it: It is available to all Meshy users now. Look for the 3D Agent in Meshy.
Meshy 3D Agent can take a described idea through concept art to a 3D model I can print or use in a game engine. Help me write a clear description of [the object or character I want], including style, size, colors and key details, plus 3 variations to try as concept art.

- New feature
Meshy now lets API users cap the monthly spend on any single API key, so a test key cannot use up a production budget.
- New feature
Meshy's Auto Split now accepts typed instructions, so users can name the parts of a model they want separated.
- Availability
Meshy has a plugin for ChatGPT, so users can generate 3D models and split them into parts with the Part Segmentation API inside a chat.
- Availability
Meshy is now available as an official app on iOS and Android, letting users snap a photo and turn it into a 3D model.
August 2026
- Availability
Meshy's API Playground is now open on the free plan, so users can test Image to 3D on their own image and download the result.
