- Launch
Tripo launched Agentic Canvas in Tripo Studio, where an Agent plans and runs 3D workflows, supports batch pipelines, and adds an AI 3D Lab.
What this means for you: Tripo's Agentic Canvas lets you describe the 3D asset you need in chat. An Agent then plans and runs the steps and gives you a 3D asset without switching between tools. You can also run one workflow across several assets at once and reuse the pipelines.
Why it matters: It follows Tripo's Oct 22 rebuild of Rigging and Animation and the Oct 3 addition of Text to Motion. The AI 3D Lab on the canvas covers rigging, which Tripo had been improving.
How to use it: Agentic Canvas is in beta inside Tripo Studio. It is available to all MAX and Team users now, with a gradual rollout to other users.
I need several 3D assets and just learned Tripo's Agentic Canvas can plan and run a 3D workflow from a chat description, including batch workflows. Help me write a clear description for the first asset, and plan a reusable workflow for the rest. The assets are: [list assets and their use].
- New feature
Tripo rebuilt Rigging and Animation in Tripo Studio with full-body and hand rigging, five skeleton presets, Text to Motion, and multi-stage motion.
What this means for you: If you make 3D characters, Tripo Studio can now add a skeleton to a character, including the hands, so it can move. You can type a prompt to get a 1 to 10 second animation, or chain up to 5 motion segments together. You can then export the character without remapping its bones.
Why it matters: Text to Motion and rigging with hand bones first appeared on Oct 3, and Tripo made them available to all users on Oct 11. This update rebuilds the Rigging and Animation tools in Tripo Studio, adding five skeleton presets that are ready for game engines.
How to use it: Open Tripo Studio and use the rebuilt Rigging and Animation tools. Pick one of the 5 skeleton presets, then auto-rig, animate and export your character.
I make 3D characters and just learned Tripo Studio can auto-rig a character with full-body and hand bones, then animate it with Text to Motion (1 to 10 second clips) and combine up to 5 motion segments. Help me plan a short animation sequence for [describe my character]: which motions to write as prompts, in what order, and how long each should be.
