Replit was valued at $9 billion when it raised $400 million in March 2026, in a round led by the investment firm Georgian. Lovable is worth more: $13.3 billion after a $400 million round on August 12, 2026. The biggest company here is Cognition, which makes the coding agent Devin and owns the Windsurf code editor: it raised over $2 billion at a $48 billion valuation on September 8, 2026.
Cursor no longer has a price tag of its own, because SpaceX completed its acquisition of Cursor on August 14, 2026. Every figure on this page comes from the company's own announcement, linked where it appears, and was checked on November 8, 2026.
A valuation is the price investors put on the whole company when they buy a slice of it in a funding round. Companies don't have to publish it, so a few on this page are listed as "not disclosed". For the big AI labs (OpenAI, Anthropic and the rest), see who owns OpenAI, Anthropic and the other AI companies.
What is Replit's valuation?
Replit is valued at $9 billion. That figure comes from the $400 million round it announced on March 11, 2026, according to Replit's own news page. Georgian led the round, and Andreessen Horowitz and Coatue were among the other investors.
Six months earlier the number was a third of that. Replit's previous round was $250 million at a $3 billion valuation on September 10, 2025, led by Prysm Capital, with a16z, Amex Ventures, Coatue and Y Combinator also investing.
Replit is a privately held startup backed by venture investors. Its CEO is Amjad Masad, who co-founded it with Haya Odeh, now its VP of Design. The company says it is on track for $1 billion in annual recurring revenue by the end of 2026 and has more than 500,000 professional users. Annual recurring revenue is the subscription money a company expects to bring in over a year at its current pace.
Replit makes an AI app builder: you describe the app you want in plain English and its agent writes and launches it. We covered Replit's canvas workspace for its AI builder when it launched, and the Replit tool page tracks what it has shipped since.
What is Lovable's valuation?
Lovable is valued at $13.3 billion. It raised $400 million in Series C funding at that valuation on August 12, 2026, led by Menlo Ventures and co-led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, which EQT manages. Series C is the name for a later funding round, after Series A and Series B.

Lovable's valuation has gone up with each round. It raised $200 million at $1.8 billion on July 17, 2025, in a round from Accel, and then $330 million at $6.6 billion on December 18, 2025, led by CapitalG and Menlo Ventures' Anthology fund.
Lovable is a privately held company backed by venture investors. The lead investors in its latest round were Menlo Ventures and the EQT-managed Scaleup Europe Fund, with Accel, CapitalG and Salesforce Ventures among those returning from earlier rounds. No investor's percentage stake is published.
Lovable is also an AI app builder. The company says people have created more than 60 million projects since it launched in November 2024, and apps built with it get more than 900 million visits a month. More on the product is on the Lovable tool page.
Who owns Cursor AI now?
SpaceX owns Cursor. Cursor's blog post "Cursor is now a part of SpaceX", dated August 14, 2026, says the company has officially been acquired by SpaceX. The deal completed a process that started in April 2026, when Cursor announced a partnership with SpaceXAI to speed up its model training. The post gives no price.

The company behind Cursor is Anysphere, Inc., the name in the copyright line at the bottom of Cursor's site. Cursor gives two reasons for the deal: it will have "access to the largest fleet of GPUs in the world", and that lets it "provide customers with more capable models at lower cost". GPUs are the chips used to train and run AI models.
Cursor is a code editor with AI built in. The Cursor company page and Cursor tool page follow what it ships under SpaceX.
Which AI startup has the highest valuation?
Of the AI coding companies on this page, Cognition has the highest valuation, at $48 billion. Lovable is next at $13.3 billion, then Replit at $9 billion. Cursor is left out of this ranking because it is now part of SpaceX and no standalone price was published, and Poolside, Cline and OpenCode's maker have not published a valuation at all.
This comparison covers only the coding and app-builder companies listed here. Valuations for the big AI labs are in our guide to who owns OpenAI, Anthropic and the rest.
Cognition: Devin, Windsurf and a $48B valuation
Cognition is valued at $48 billion after raising over $2 billion on September 8, 2026. Andreessen Horowitz and Accel led the round, with Founders Fund, General Catalyst and Avenir also investing.
Cognition is an AI company that makes Devin, a coding agent that companies give whole programming tasks to and that works through them on its own. The company says it started in January 2024. On July 14, 2025, it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Windsurf, a code editor with AI built in, so it owns both a do-it-for-you agent and an editor developers type in themselves.
Its valuation has risen in three steps in a year:
| Round | Date | Raised | Valuation | Led by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Series C | Sep 8, 2025 | Over $400M | $10.2B (post-money) | Founders Fund |
| Series D | May 27, 2026 | Over $1B | $26B | Lux Capital, General Catalyst, 8VC |
| Series E | Sep 8, 2026 | Over $2B | $48B | Andreessen Horowitz, Accel |
Cognition is a private company backed by venture investors, and it describes itself as "an independent agent lab" that picks models from several AI providers along with its own. No ownership percentages are published.

Cognition has not published a profit figure. What it publishes is revenue: its run-rate revenue grew from $492 million to almost $900 million after its May 2026 round, and on September 25, 2026 it crossed $1 billion in annualized run rate. A run rate takes recent revenue and scales it up to a full year. It counts money coming in and leaves out costs. The Cognition company page and Devin tool page cover its products.
OpenCode, Cline and Poolside: who's behind them
OpenCode is made by a company called Anomaly, Cline by Cline Bot Inc., and Poolside by a company of the same name run by co-CEOs Jason Warner and Eiso Kant. None of the three publishes a valuation.
Who owns OpenCode?
OpenCode is built in the open by Anomaly and its contributors, and Anomaly holds the copyright on the site. It is an open-source coding agent under the MIT license, which lets anyone use, change and share the code. You can start with its free models without an account, or pay for OpenCode Go, which starts at $10 a month. More on the OpenCode tool page.
Who owns Cline?
Cline is made by Cline Bot Inc., the company named in the copyright line on its site. It describes Cline as an open-source AI coding agent that runs as a desktop app, inside code editors such as Visual Studio Code, and in the terminal. Cline's blog publishes no funding round or valuation. See the Cline tool page.
What is Poolside AI, and what is it worth?
Poolside builds open-weight AI models for coding, meaning anyone can download the models and run them on their own hardware. Its current models are called Laguna. It announced a $500 million fundraise on October 2, 2024, in a post signed by its co-CEOs and co-founders Jason Warner and Eiso Kant, and that post states no valuation. The same post says its early customers are enterprises with the highest privacy and security standards. More on the Poolside company page.
